I'm a Grandma! Brand new Vovó!!
I found out yesterday March 23, 2009. I didn't find out the conventional way. We've been sitting at the edge of our seats for a couple months but finally got word yesterday that it is finally official. It's a boy.
I can't wait to get to know him. He belongs to LD and he couldn't have asked for a better father. LD has always been great with kids, ever since he was little. I'm so excited but I have to wait for LD to give me the go-ahead on this one. It's all too new still.
We've missed out on so much. All his first's. I hope she's got some record of them to show me. I guess we can go over these at the first meeting and compare. I want to be a part of his life, someone he can count on. This meeting should be soon, maybe a dinner out or something?
I don't know, I just want to meet him.
LD recently just had the rug pulled out from underneath him but life is a blessing. Things are looking up from here.
