I haven't been posting as regular as before. Looking for a job is getting harder and harder and things get left behind but I did get to see my grandson this past weekend. Saturday LD brought him over to go swimming in the pool. I feel bad for LD because he's been working his regular job and a few side jobs and not had much time to spend with his son. Sometimes he feels stressed. This scares me. I pray he knows how proud I am of him and that Jehovah see's the effort he is putting forth.
They had lot's of fun together playing in the pool. Solange wasn't able to come but made them rootbeer float cupcakes. She's a pastry chef and comes up with these strange combinations. The boys really enjoyed it.
Saturday as they were leaving my grandbaby said he loved me for the first time. I was so happy!!
Then today, wednesday, I called to see if he and his momma were OK, I talked to April first and I could hear him in the background asking who it was, if it was his Daddy, she told him it was grandma Rosane. I asked to talk to him and as he answered the phone I asked "how are you doing?" he must not have heard me right because kinda laughing he say's "i love you too". what a beautiful sound that was!
I called LD right away but he was on a side job doing drywall. Sometimes he's out on a shrimp boat. He's working hard. I'm so proud of him. I did talk to him later on that night and told him about the telephone conversation I had, and that he's very special to me and his son, oh how he lights up to see his daddy. LD said he wishes he could spend more time with him. So far it's only been once a week for about maybe 5 hours. But, that's how I felt, I missed out on alot when I was raising them by myself, with Tony's help, and I know Jehovah was there by my side.

LD has been seeing his son every weekend since coming over to swim. This past weekend on saturday the 6th he was supposed to have him for a sleep-over
but in the end his momma said he wasn't ready for that yet. He wanted his momma to come too. On sunday LD asked me if I would like to go when he visits his son and ofcourse I jumped at that chance. The baby also had a fever or else he would've come over to go swimming. He described how he felt as when he swallowed his brain hurt. In the end his momma said she figured out he meant his throat hurt. lol.
I called after I got hom and his fever had gone up and on monday she took him to the doctor, he had strep throat. I told her how Schivone is prone to them a couple times a year. If this continues he probably needs his tonsils out. There were cues earlier in the week that something was happening. At school he got into an "altercation" with his teacher. He gave her a karate kick because she wouldn't give him water. Now we know why, he was thirsty because his throat was dry, strep throat!!
