My grandbaby called LD "Daddy" for the first time today.

I met my grandson today!

I met my grandson today. I went to the "special talk" it was about our faith, without work's it dead as the scriptures say. We have to prove ourselves. I tried to pay attention but was so anxious to get to the end, isn't that awful? After the talk we left and went home to change. Afterwards my mom and I went to Roger's Park and met with LD, my grandson and his momma. Schivone was there interacting with him as well as with the other children on the beach. I walked up to him and just froze. I didn't want to scare him so I introduced myself as LD's mom. My mom was there as well. I felt like hugging and kissing him, I had only seen him in fotos. He's so beautiful, so perfect His Momma did a good job, and she too is so pretty. The combination of Her and LD made a beautiful baby.
He was playing with a couple of little girls building sand castles and then a couple of boys joined in. He shared his toys was and was very polite. You could tell he was fixed on LD the whole time, keeping his eyes on him. At one point he lost sight of him and kept calling for him. "David! David!". He's become attached to LD. Still referring him as "David". His momma say's he refers to him as his Dad when he's not around at home but when he's calling out to him it's "David". The time will come when he calls LD "Daddy" to his face and it'll make it that more special, I'm sure of it.
My grandson is gorgeous. He looks like his momma and LD. He poses for pictures with an instant smile. Thank you Jehovah, I feel so blessed.

4th Visit

This past Saturday was the 4th visit LD had with his son. I still haven't met him yet but LD keeps me posted after every visit on his son's reactions during his visits. When LD went to visit this last time he was interrupted by my daughter Solange, she needed a ride back from her friends house in another town close to where LD was with his son. He had to go pick Solange up from her friends house and then to save time he just took Solange back with him to his son's house. When LD arrived he knocked on the door and Solange said you could hear the little guy scream "David's baaack!" and then heard a loud thump on the door. His mom answered the door as he laid on the floor like he was hurt, just a gag though because he wasn't. He's got a sense on humor he inherited from his Dad. (smiles) Then they all left for the skating rink and I hear they had a great time. I just wish I could've been there but LD is still saying it's not time yet.
I hope this time comes soon. I've already missed so much.

Today LD went to visit his son for the 3rd time. They went to the park and just for him he brought "lot's and lot's of stuff". That's what his son said last week when LD said he'd be back....to bring lot's and lot's of stuff. Every time LD has gone to see him he takes gifts. This time it was leggos and hot wheels. While at the park playing with his son he told him he was his father. I don't think it sunk in because his response was he didn't have a father but his mommy said he's talk to him later more about it. Seems he asks about LD before bed sometimes. I'm glad he finally told him, I didn't want him to get too used to calling him by his first name and then take long to transition over to calling him Daddy.
LD said next visit would be on Saturday and they would be going to go skate and the rink. I wish I could go. I told him I could watch from afar. LD said he was going to plan something so I can meet him and his mommy.

2nd Meeting

LD went to see his son again this past Sunday. He said at first he was shy when LD arrived but then he came around. LD did not go empty handed. He brought a football, baseball, couldn't find a soccer ball, that's next. I think I even have a brazilian team shirt number 9 Ronaldo which ofcourse will go to my grandbaby. LD took some pictures on his camera. The images are so small though. I wish his momma could send me some via the internet. Then we could see better who he looks like. I could share with her what I have of LD too. I have a whole album of LD on here.
I forgot to ask when he will see his son next. I hope he will get to see him again this weekend. The better he get's to know his son I think the closer I will get to see him.
